Videos and Editing
In my time at SUNY Niagara, I have taken courses that allowed me to make videos and other projects. Here are some of my favorites that I have worked on.
Means To An End by Connor Donnellon
Means to An End is a music video that I created. It involves a local band singing "Means To An End" by MeatRaffle, and students from the Spring 2024 Digital Filmmaking class.
We used various techniques such as color mapping and key framing.
A Night Behind The Scenes by Connor Donnellon
"A Night Behind The Scenes" is a fly on the wall look at the rehearsal process for live theater. I filmed this as a part of my independent study course at the Alleyway Theater in Buffalo, NY. Chris J. Handley and Robyn Lee Horn were also interviewed for this project.
A Few Minutes with Jeff Elder by Connor Donnellon
Jeff Elder is a legislator in the Niagara Falls region, who represents the 4th District. He also worked on Air Force One for the Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. His story is one that deserves a listen.
The Gambler by Connor Donnellon
"The Gambler" is about a man that doesn't know when to stop. When he loses $16,000 in a single bet, he needs encouragement to take one more shot.
The characters are played by the Spring 24 Theater Arts Drama Club, while the Digital Filmmaking class recorded the video and audio, as well as did the editing.
The Puzzle Meister by Connor Donnellon
"The Puzzle Meister" is about someone who loves puzzles, but looks at it in a comedic lens. This was filmed with the purpose of being a satirical documentary.
The script was written by the filmmaking class, and was recorded and edited by the students.
